Starting Bonus: +20 Gathering Skill Level

Students have starting boost to their gathering level. Gathering is one of the most important skills in Durango. You have to gather thousands of things around you as you level up.

Which Class Is The Best?

There is no best class to pick. The +20 level bonus is just a head-start. So basically, you can pick a soldier and you can still level up tailoring. The only difference is instead of starting from level 20, you have to start from level 1.

In other words, you can become anything you want. For example, you can spend all your skill points to melee then suddenly you want to become a farmer. You can unlearn all your melee skills then level up farming and put your skill points to farming.

But to prevent players from abusing this feature they can only unlearn some points per day.

Possibly the most ideal class to start your Durango adventure are soldiers or job seekers. Soldiers because of their fighting capabilities. They can hunt dinosaurs easily. Job seekers because of their defensive skills. Dinosaurs will barely hit you.
