How To Make Basic Workbench In Durango Wildlands

Basic workbench is a very useful tool that every Pioneers must have. Basic workbench is an upgrade to the Makeshift Workbench which is crafted by everyone during the tutorial phase.

So why do you have to make a basic workbench? Simple, because as the game progress you will need higher level tools to make higher level items.

There are workbench in every camp can I use them instead? You can use them for instantly created items but not for items which require time to process. Remember that every players have permission to those workbench so they can take anything that's in there. You don't want your precious materials stolen right?

Making a basic workbench is simple. First thing you need is your Building skill set to level 20 or higher. You can instantly reach level 20 Building by choosing Office Worker class in the Character Selection screen.

Then go to Skills > Building > Crafting Structures > Basic Workbench and learn the skill. You have to spend 3 skill points to learn the skill. Learning the skill allows you to make a basic workbench.

Now that you can make a basic workbench, it is time to gather all the required materials. Just go to Craft/Build > StorageUnit/Workbench > Basic Workbench.

Materials needed to craft a basic workbench:

• 2x Pillar Shape - Just gather 2x Log from trees.
• 6x Strap - gather 6x stalks or roots from reed or bushes.
  
• 2x Plank Shape - make sure you have the Plank Skill. Go to Skills > Build > Construction Part > Plank.

Gather 2x Log from trees. Find a workbench then craft 2x Planks. Make sure to always have your work tools available.

After gathering all the required materials you can now craft a basic workbench. Ideally, go to your domain then open Craft/Build > StorageUnit/Workbench > Basic Workbench and place the basic workbench where you want it toe be. Then place all the materials needed and craft.

You just have to wait a little bit for it to finish and then you can start using your very own basic workbench. If you are doing lots of item processing it is a smart move to make more basic workbench.
